The Systems Analyst is a key member of the Contact Centre Operational Metrics team (CCOM) which is an operations-based IT team within the Bell Aliant Customer Care organization. As a member of the CCOM team, the Systems Analyst is responsible for the end to end life cycle of IT solutions. This mandate is fulfilled through the design, development and maintenance of automated self-serve reporting solutions, custom built applications and process automation.
This is a hands-on solutions development role with a healthy mix of several IT disciplines and requires a high degree of adaptability.
The ideal candidate will bring a solid working knowledge of the Microsoft technology development stack focusing primarily on web application and database development. The candidate will have some involvement and accountability for database administration, ETL (extract, transform & load) functions as well as business intelligence development. The successful candidate will be results oriented, proactive and be a strong team player. Strong problem solving skills and the ability to absorb new technologies is considered an asset.
Bachelor’s degree in computer Science or other related technical/IT field or a three year diploma from an accredited institution.
